The scarcity of affordable housing for low and medium income seniors in general, and Latino seniors in particular, make the Vida Senior Residences at Brightwood a logical and necessary extension of the community and support services Vida has provided to its abuelitos since its inception.

Located in a neighborhood with green areas and significant historic sites, the five-level apartment building houses 36 new, fully-furnished units designed with seniors in mind. Besides brand new appliances (including microwaves, refrigerators, and electric stoves), each ADA compliant unit is wired for cable and high-speed Internet, and features a digital A-Phone system so residents can see their visitors on camera prior to granting them access into the secure building.

A rooftop terrace houses Vida’s community garden and a shuttle will assist residents with their transportation needs to and from activities provided by the Center.
