Vida staff ensures that all of the abuelitos coming through our doors are under the care of a family doctor and that they have had an annual physical exam.

For those abuelitos who arrive at Vida without a family doctor, the Wellness Program staff will work to identify one so that abuelitos have access to a greater range of medical services than would be possible at Vida alone.

Vida staff work with local providers of medical services, such as Clínica del Pueblo and Mary’s Center, to secure an attending family doctor and schedule these appointments on behalf of abuelitos.
