Our commitment to extending the quality of life for our elders and improving their ability to lead fulfilling, independent lives is taking on a new form.

The Vida Senior Residences at Brightwood will allow seniors who are 55 years of age and older to live in a warm and mutually supportive community where they receive the one-on-one attention they are accustomed to at Vida.

Located in a neighborhood with green areas and significant historic sites, the four-level apartment building will house 36 new, fully-furnished, multifamily units designed with seniors in mind. Besides brand new appliances (including microwaves, refrigerators, and garbage disposals), each ADA compliant unit will be wired for cable and high-speed Internet, and feature a digital A-Phone system so residents can see their visitors on camera prior to granting them access into the secure building.

The Vida Senior Residences at Brightwood will include common areas where Vida programs and services will take place and congregate meals will be shared, as well as a rooftop terrace that will house Vida’s community garden. A private shuttle will assist residents with their transportation needs.

The Vida Senior Residences at Brightwood is still in the construction phase, and Vida is seeking funding to make the social service component of the project operational. There are plenty of opportunities for individual and corporate donors to contribute to the establishment and sustainability of these services.
